Island Time (Post-Halloween Edition)

Skinny Legs Halloween Party

The annual Halloween party at Skinny Legs.

Good afternoon! While many of you reading from the States are enjoying a lazy morning after getting that extra hour of sleep last night, we’re already well into our day on St. John. We don’t have Daylight Saving Time down here. Who needs it when you’re on Island Time all the time!

We do have Halloween, of course. One of the biggest parties on island is the annual bash at Skinny Legs in Coral Bay. It was a great turnout last night, even though the biggest downpour of the evening started at exactly the same time as the costume contest. Hey, we needed the rain. And everyone was having too much fun to care.
